Lower Shore Performing Arts Company presents 'The Importance of Being Earnest'
The Importance of Being Earnest is Oscar Wilde's classic comedy of Society, and mistaken identity. Gwendelyn and Cecily each believe they are engaged to a man named Ernest Worthing. But the truth is rarely pure and never simple, as they are wooed by Jack Worthing and Gwendelyn's cousin, Algernon. Learn how to 'Bunbury' as the couples navigate the hazards of family, social standing, and obligations while seeking a way to marry, despite the interference of the imperious Lady Bracknell. In the end, everyone must discover the vital importance of being earnest.
Three act play with two 10 minute intermissions.
