David and Lisa: After years of not fitting in and struggling to connect, David's parents send him to a boarding school for young people who struggle with similar challenges. Angry at his parents and the school he feels trapped in, David isolates himself until he meets Lisa, a playful and bright student - despite her own struggles - seems to see past his cold exterior. When David finally begins opening up to Lisa and his psychiatrist Alan, he realizes overcoming his fears may actually be possible...but will he take the risk? Marin Catholic Performing Arts Department presents a modern retelling of 'David and Lisa', a classic coming-of-age story that explores the idea that 'Getting well is slow, hard work.'
