LUNA & GINSBURG OVER EASY!
Did you hear the one about a Mexican and a JewTalian walking down into the basement of a Mexican Restaurant where you can drink margaritas in the performance space?
FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY! Selene Luna, and Nadya Ginsburg take the stage at their beloved Cavern Club Theater at Casita Del Campo for one night of Stand Up Comedy.
Selene Luna stars as the voice of Tía Rosita in Disney-Pixar's, COCO (Academy Award & Golden Globe Awards' Winner for Best Animated Picture and Best Original Song), the first-ever All-Latino cast in major movie studio history. Luna toured internationally as a burlesque dancer and was a featured dancer in the undisputed Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese's national burlesque tour. Luna is probably best known for her role in Lionsgate's feature My Bloody Valentine 3D and Vh1s The Cho Show a performance that landed her a nomination for MTV LOGOs NewNowNext: Brink of Fame: Comic Award. Luna has written and performed six original one-woman shows, most recently Born to Be Alive, produced by the Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center. Luna's comedy led her to work alongside comedy legends Robin Williams and Margaret Cho, opening several of Cho's national tours. Luna produced, DON'T LAUGH AT US! A "Special" Comedians Comedy Special, the first-ever standup comedy show featuring an all-disabled line-up. This fall, Selene Luna, is being recognized with a Visionary Leadership Award by InnerCity Struggle (ICS). Selene Luna has carved a niche for herself and continues to break the stereotypes of little people in entertainment.
