Wine+Cheese with The Cheese Board Collective and Trail Marker Wine
Join The Cheese Board Collective and Trail Marker Wines for an afternoon of sipping wine, tasting cheese, and learning about both in the process. We will delve into different cheese types and styles, and understand what words like "washed rind" and "affinage" actually mean. Wine will be paired with a range of cheeses allowing you to explore all of the matching possibilities.
Drew Huffine and Emily Virgil of Trail Marker are a husband & wife winemaking team focusing on wines that reflect the place they are grown, with an emphasis on high altitude vineyards and a belief in traditional winemaking. This tasting we have the opportunity to survey a three-vintage vertical of Trail Marker's Chardonnay from Manchester Ridge Vineyard in Anderson Valley, plus see why Drew and Emily are so obsessed with three obscure Austrian varieties they source out of Lodi: Dornfelder, Blaufrankish and Zwiegelt.
These unique wines will also be available for purchase onsite 21+
