The Laramie Project
This fall will mark the twentieth anniversary of the death of Matthew Shepard, the young man who was tied to a fence and beaten to death for being gay.
The Laramie Project was written in response to this as a microcosmic examination of how communities can fracture... and mend themselves. After two decades, it seems the message of The Laramie Project is just a prescient today as it was when it debuted. This production will run at Indy Convergence (2611 W. Michigan St.) from October twelfth through October twenty-first at eight o'clock on Fridays and Saturdays, two-thirty on Sundays. Tickets are fifteen dollars.
All profits from this production will go to The Matthew Shepard Foundation and Indy Pride.
