HARMFUL ALGAL BLOOMS AND OTHER EMERGING CONTAMINANTS
The Fall Workshop is a one-day meeting primarily focused on one important environmental issue and related topics. The HDC Board has been planning the workshop and has contacted several speakers, most have already confirmed, but there is room on the agenda for one or two more presentations.
If you are interested in speaking at our workshop please contact the organizers - Dan Millemann, Wenqing (Vicky) Xu or Don Nazario to be considered for the agenda.
Invited Keynote Speakers:
Leslie McGeorge -
Division of Water Monitoring and Standards, NJDEP
Leslie McGeorge is an administrator within the NJDEP/Division of Water Monitoring and Standards. She has worked with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for almost 38 years and has managed numerous projects under the DEP. She is the recipient of the 2016 Growing Great Women in Garden State Award from the New Jersey Society of Women Environmental Professionals.
Fred Lubnow -
Director of Aquatic Programs, Princeton Hydro, LLC
Dr. Fred S. Lubnow is the Princeton Hydros Director of Aquatic Programs. His research focuses on aquatic and watershed management, restoration ecology, community and ecosystem ecology, and the use of benthic macroinvertebrate and fish in-stream bioassessment protocols. As Director of Aquatic Programs, Dr. Lubnow manages a variety of lake and watershed restoration projects.
