We are launching a new occasional series that we call Booklore. For each episode, Kathleen Harrison will sift through the book treasures we have at the Ethnobotany Library, choosing good stories and fine writing on a selected theme. She will read aloud and weave together various cultures' views on a topic. This inaugural afternoon will be on the theme of Little People -- those small beings who seem to dwell on the edge of visibility, close to nature, in cultures around the world. What do they have in common? What role do they fill for us? Come join us at the Library to listen to good stories and wonder together.
Sunday, November 25- 2-5pm
