The Josephine Hart Poetry Hour: Poetry of the Great War
To celebrate the centenary of Armistice Day 1918, stars of stage and screen will read Josephine Hart's programme of WW1 poems which give voice to the humanity, loss and suffering of the Great War. Amongst others, we will hear Wilfred Owen's Dulce et Decorum Est, Rupert Brooke's The Soldier and WB Yeats' An Irish Airman Forsees His Death.
Cast and directed by Shevaun Wilder
The hour will be shared with the charity Style for Soldiers and soldier-poets Lt Col (Rtd) Stewart Hill, Karl Tearney, Harrison Grace and James Amoore will read poems about their experiences in recent conflicts.
