Working with the Animals of the Crossroads : Crows, Raven, Vultures, Cats, Owls, Bats, & Spiders - A Samhain Workshop
Some of the most feared creatures are the the ones at the crossroads - those associated with spirits, death, bad luck, and the night. They are the ones who we tell stories about, the old wives tales, of misfortune, death, and magic. What can we learn from these magical creatures who exist all around us? What lessons do they have for us when the veil between the worlds in thinning? What challenges do they offer us, how can we support them and see them fully in our everyday lives, and what are their stories?
So often animals are spoken of in the spirit sense, but they are living full lives all around us everyday. In this workshop we will talk about how can we attune ourselves to them in the world around us and create intentional relationships with them. We will also do a light trance to see who of these Crossroads animals will be our teacher and to and ask them to guide us through the beautiful dark nights of Samhain.
--- Lou LaMotte is a trained Priest/ess and Animal Communicator who helps foster understanding between animals and their people. They believe in co-creating a shared life with animals in the spirit of cooperation and partnership. Through Animal Communication they help animals and humans find that balance by giving voice to animals deep inner lives, needs, and any issues they may be having. They work from a place of knowing that animals lives, intelligence, and magic is equal to our own and this is a principle that they have dedicated their life and work.
