Walk The Talk - Kindness and Generosity
As grade school children, most of us can remember how our teachers emphasized the importance of being kind to others. While kindness is infinitely important, generosity of spirit was rarely mentioned. Ive realized over the years that generosity is of foundational importance in creating a kind community of folks who continuously give and are open to receive. Walk the Talk believes the world could use more inspired kindness, and more generous giving. With fall and the holidays upon us, Walk the Talk (WTT) feels it is a good time to share stories related to Kindness and Generosity.

How is kindness expressed, both individually and collectively? What has the act of kindness shown to each of us as individuals? How do kindness and generosity shape the world we live in? What does kindness do for the spirit? These are but a few questions this speaker series will aim to answer.

Coming up on Saturday, December 8, 2018, Walk the Talk presents the topic of Kindness & Generosity downtown at the Athenaeum in the Basille Theatre (AKA the Rathskeller building). Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show starts at 7:45 PM. The speaker series will include six speakers who will share their stories on the topic of Kindness & Generosity. The show will also feature live Rock n Roll music, confetti, our super cool master of ceremonies, and will wrap up with our motivational balloon drop.

Thanks for being part of our epic shift!
