Written by legendary folklorist Zora Neale Hurston and adapted by Mixed Magic co-founder Ricardo Pitts-Wiley, SWEAT and THE GILDED SIX BITS are two terrific short plays set against the backdrop of the Florida of Hurston's youth and are engaging and uplifting reflections on life for African-Americans and the communities created following the Civil War.
