Ten Herbs for Cold and Flu Season
This transition to colder weather will bring with it coughs, fevers and runny noses. In this two hour materia medica class, we'll cover ten of my favorite herbs colds and flu season in depth.
For each herb, we'll learn:
- preparations and dosage
- safety
- when best to use it (key symptoms)
- where to get it
- whether you can harvest or grow it
Here's the list:
1. elder flower and berry
2. elecampane root
3. thyme
4. wild cherry bark
5. yarrow
6. echinacea root
7. red root
8. ginger root
9. marshmallow root
10. mullein
This class is designed to expand your knowledge of individual herbs, so you can expand your home apothecary and use it with confidence.
Bring a notebook, come with questions, and be ready to learn. Natalie is a fast-paced teacher, and she likes to cover as much as possible in the time.
