Create a Copper Cuff (Session 1)

Learn to texture tubing with hammers to create a copper cuff with torch-fired patinas that both men and women will love. Tools and materials are included. No experience is necessary. Appropriate for children 12 and up.

Create Torch-Fired Enamel Earrings (Session 2)
1:00pm-3:00pm $30 NCA Member/$40 Non-Member+ $15 materials fee per person
Learn the magic of enamels! Texture sheet copper with hammers and then fuse fine glass powder onto the surface with a torch for a pair of beautiful earrings. Tools and materials are included. No experience is necessary. Appropriate for children 14 and up.

About your instructor: For over ten years, artist Ellen Ball has created metalsmithed jewelry and has taught over 275 people at various locations in western NC. She is a member of North Carolina Artist-Blacksmith Association of North Carolina and works out of her studio in Hickory.
