ART BLOCKS presents Open Spaces Preview Class, a two-hour class that will shed light and understanding on Kansas City's premier nine-week festival running from August 25-October 28. I've done the research for you so that you can start planning your fall outings around this spectacular event. And spread the word!
What is Open Spaces?
Kansas City's debut onto the 21st century world stage of culture, mixed-media installation and cutting-edge performance. With Swope Park as the hub, works by more than 40 visual artists in a wide range of media will be installed throughout the city. The entire exhibition can be enjoyed over a couple of days if you're visiting the city. If you're lucky enough to live here, you can get to know Open Spaces over the course of two months and participate in an ongoing program of activities.
