Forest Mindfulness Walk: Autumn Equinox
"Nature is the therapist; the guide opens the door."
Welcome the fall with a nature connect experience at beautiful Harmony Farm of Mississippi with Nancy Goldman, PMHCNS, BC, Mississippis only certified Forest Therapy Guide. Forest Therapy is based on the Japanese wellness practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing. It involves a slow walk in nature, interacting with your surroundings through sensory experience. Research continues to show numerous health benefits from shinrin-yoku, including increased energy and focus, and improved mood and sleep. Don't miss your opportunity to slow down, relax, and reconnect with the natural world during the autumn equinox.
Participants must be at least 18 years old, or at least 14 if accompanied by a parent, and able to walk a distance of one mile with stops along the way. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes.
