Ali Hassan is the Lead Comedy Panelist every evening on the George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight show on CBC Television. He has also been featured on CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud and The Debaters.
In 2008, Ali was invited to perform at the first-ever comedy festival to take place in the Middle East the Amman Stand-Up Comedy Festival. His strong performance opening for Russell Peters there led to a 2nd invitation to the festival in 2009 and also earned him a spot on the Canadian leg of Maz Jobrani's Brown & Friendly tour and the hosting job on the Arabs Gone Wild comedy tour. In 2012 Ali was invited to perform at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and JFL42 in Toronto. He has been in 3 films in the last 2 years: French Immersion, Breakaway and TIFF-favourite GOON. Eman's good looks and waist line are the reason she chose comedy as her career path in 2006. Since then, Eman has appeared at the Just for Laughs festival, Halifax Comedy festival, NY Arab American comedy festival, and the Amman Stand-up Comedy Festival. She has a half hour comedy special on the Comedy Network and is a contributor to The Rover.
