Rhone Rangers
The Rhone River Valley in Southern France sits at the apex of all things delicious. Best known for it's wine, the region also knows how to handle its curds, producing bloomy, alpine, & washed rind jewels. Lucky for us, Northern CA posesses a similar climate to the Southern Rhone, which accounts for the abundance of di"vine" Rhone vintages in the Bay Area. As for the cheese, domestic farms are beginning to craft Rhone-style cheeses that stand right up to their French counterparts.
Join us in welcoming Berkeley's Donkey & Goat Winery to the West Bay! We'll be pairing four of their highly-celebrated wines with five domestic Rhone-style cheeses. Let's get regional!
