El Calçotada!
Join us on the patio at Ecco for the grand Catalonian tradition of the Calçotada--a spring celebration of the calçot, a long sweet onion that grows in abundance this time of year in almost every garden in Spain.
We'll take bunches of spring onions (a close relative to the calçot) from Planted Rock Farms, grill them over an open wood fire, wrap them in newspaper and serve them on our communal tables with freshly grilled bread and a variety of housemade sauces including romesco and salsa verde
Like any Spanish culinary event, there will be plenty of wine to sample including cava, rioja and verdejo. And, if you're up for it, you can challenge yourself to an over-the-head chug from our authentic porróns (glass wine pitchers).
This is going to be one heck of a party! The cost is only $30 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and we'll give you 10% off if you choose to stay for dinner after.
