WORKSHOP: Decoding Film Language
Decoding Flim Language with filmmaker, Signe Taylor (Circus Dreams). Take a close look into a filmmaker's bag of tricks. How do films communicate or manipulate stories and emotions? Using clips from popular movies, learn how terms like long shots, close-ups, pans, tilts, background music, and more, become part of the secret code behind the film. Appropriate for middle school students and up.
Workshop Length: 2 hours Ages: 11+
