Sgraffito Redware Plate
All of Denise's workshops begin with an introduction to Pennsylvania Redware, including a demonstration using a rolling pin, circle cutter and mold to create a plate; and the two decorating techniques, sgraffito and slip-trailing, used by the 17th through 19th century Pennsylvania German potters. I have books for ideas or they may bring their own, and I have all the tools required to complete their designs. No prior experience is required!Total Cost includes all Materials, Firing and processing and one 7 plate.
Cost for Additional plates 7 plates $25, 10 plates $35, can make up to 3 plates. Paid to the instructor the day of the class.
