Infection Control: Break The Chain
Whatcom County Health Department Infection Control Task Force is hosting a conference with experts who will speak on relevant infection control topics. These include influenza prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, drug diversion and blood borne pathogens, multidrug resistant organisms and more.
Speakers include: Pat Preston, MS, Geriatric Infection Control; Patty Montgomery, MPH, RN, CIC of Washington State Department of Health; Staci Kvak, MPH, BSN, RN of Washington State Department of Health; Jana Schmella, Consultant Pharmacist for Hoagland's Pharmacy and Hawa Hoff, DNP, MSN, FNP of Sanofi Pasteur.
Target audience: Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Hospital and Out-Patient Clinics.
Registration opens at 8:00AM, conference starts at 8:30AM and ends at 4:00PM.
Lunch is provided.
