Radical Beauty: Taming Summer's Heat

We made it! Eclipse season is finally coming to a close and it is time for us to welcome the bounty of the fall harvest. What better way to tame the heat of summer than with luscious botanicals for mind and body? Lets tap into our radical self care ritual by creating soothing skin and hair potions, all hand made with love~ and some soothing tea.

What will be covered in this class?

-Herbal lotion crafting. Learn proper technique for infusing and emulsifying witch hazel and oil for your one of a kind cream.
-Make moisturizing and protective rosemary flax seed hair gel.
-How to concoct a demulcent tisane, just what we need to nourish each other after a hot day in the sun or to soothe lungs from the smokiness of the summer.
-What is Radical Beauty and the significance of a body ritual?

This is part of the class series, Radical Beauty: Body Ritual with Intention for Mind and Spirit.This is the Second class in this series.

Make your own beauty and health products so you know what's in the products going on your skin! Learn how to make potions for yourself and for gift giving. Each participant will be going home with what we make in class. All materials included.

Cost is $35.

Bio: Diana Lynn Law is a Pacific NW herbalist and artist who loves learning about plants and Nature and teaching it to others. She loves tending growing things, creativity and Science. Her classes are a combination of Folk Herbalism, and science-based study.

Nature's remedies are the people's medicines. Empowering people to build their own relationships with plants and create their own well-being are integral parts of her classes. Nature is wholistic and so is her approach to teaching; incorporating remedies, creativity and exploration of traditional as well as science-based information; both have their merits.
