Historical Footnotes: Dancing through Northampton's History
Sept. 14 & 15 Historical Footnotes: Dancing Through Northamptons History At 33 Hawley Street. 7-8 p.m. music; 8-9:30 performance.
Join us for this collaboration between Historic Northampton and A.P.E., linking contemporary dance works, site-specific films, music, and visual art with newspaper clippings, stories, and facts about Northamptons history. Engaging the imagination in multiple forms, we will celebrate the opening of the Flexible Performing Space at this new arts facility, a project of the Northampton Community Arts Trust. Ten area artists and their collaborators offer a range of surprising ecological and cultural perspectives, supported in part by the Northampton Arts Council. $15 at the door/$12 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets.
