Fish Like A Girl Charity Fishing Tournament
~Koru Village and Carolina Brewery are thrilled to bring back the all-womens charity fishing tournament: "Fish Like A Girl" for its 4th year at the Avon Fishing Pier. This empowering fishing tournament on the Cape Hatteras National Seashore is a part of Koru Village's "Paint the Village Pink" campaign, and Carolina Brewery's "Drink Sky Pink" campaign.
Entry into the tournament is $30 (all ages welcome)
Includes an event T-shirt
Includes fishing pass for the day
All net proceeds of the fishing tournament benefit the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation
Many chances to win with categories such as: biggest fish, most fish, craziest fish, and more!
The Carolina Brewery Sky Pink Campaign:
Throughout the month of October -Breast Cancer Awareness Month- Sky Blue Golden Ale will be referred to as Sky Pink Golden Ale. The Carolina Brewery will be marketing the Sky Pink campaign across the country in a multitude of ways in order to raise funds and awareness. A donation will be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at the conclusion of this campaign.One of the creative ways they will share this campaign is through the hashtag, #DrinkSkyPink, which will appear all month on various social media outlets.
