MEN ARE DOGS by Joe Simonelli
It all started with Cecelia Monahan, a successful psychologist who runs a support group for single and divorced women. She has troubles of her own with a mother constantly urging her to remarry, but it's her ensemble of neurotic patients who provide the action. She hires bartender/actor Tony Rumson to become a role-player as a therapeutic exercise for her therapy group.  As Tony faces the group of hostile women who are eager to express their anger toward men, Dr. Monohan realizes she shares some of the same issues as her group members.  How can a successful psychologist control her overbearing mother and group of neurotic patients with serious man issues? She cant!  Bring together this group of single and divorced women to whine about the men who have done them wrong, introduce the unsuspecting male as the hapless victim of their not-inconsiderable ire, and you produce some hearty laughter as this comedy explores relationship problems with no holds barred and gloves off!
