A three day intensive in Trouble Puppet Theater Company's signature style of American Tabletop puppetry, led by Artistic Director Connor Hopkins. Learn the fundamentals of puppetry: breath, gravity, focus, and momentum, through exercises, object manipulation, and hands on puppetry. Examine the specific challenges of controlling a puppet's head, center of gravity, and feet.
Tabletop puppetry is a very physical form, and participants should expect to exert themselves, within reason. Shoes and clothing suited to movement are essential.
