A night to celebrate Brazilian music on strings. O Kwarteto is a new string quartet made of NYC based musicians from various cultural and musical backgrounds. The ensemble devotes itself to the performance of Brazilian music not traditionally written for or performed by string quartet. The repertoire will include selections from a wide range of Brazilian styles from Pixinguinha to Joao Bosco and Antonio Carlos Jobim. The set will feature special guests Rogerio Boccato (percussion) and Liz Rosa (voice)
