A Taste of En Plein Air: Watercolor Painting with Ruth Howell
This mini workshop will give you the opportunity to explore painting en plein air like the impressionists did. The class will begin with a short lecture and demos to familiarize you with plein air painting methods. You will learn how using a limited palette and value patterns can help you to simplify your subject and create strong compositions. Following the demonstrations, students will receive individualized instruction as they paint the landscape of downtown Bay City.
