Healthy Cooking Class: Plant Based Series - Nutrient-Rich South of the Border!
Interested in learning how food is connected to your health? Join us for a whole-food, plant based cooking class series in Bastyr University Clinic's modern teaching kitchen.
Our classes offer you hands-on opportunities to prepare nourishing and delicious plant based dishes using proper cooking techniques, exploring the benefits of these foods, all while enjoying a fun-filled evening. Classes run 1 1/2 hours.
In this class we will prepare and enjoy:
- Tempeh Fajitas
- Handmade Corn Tortillas
- Vegan Chipotle "Crema"
All recipes will include a gluten-free variation when requested in advance. All ingredients and materials are included in the class fees. Attendees will receive generous samples, enough to make a meal, and printed recipes to take home. Class size limited to 20 people.
This class is available to purchase alone for $25 or as part of a series of classes.
