8th Annual Autumn Harvest Feast

PRESENTED BY THE ATHENS FARMERS MARKET

Share a family-style Sunday dinner, music, and silent auction with your favorite local farmers, artisans, chefs, and friends to celebrate the Autumn harvest.

Over 20 of Athens' finest local chefs plus food & drink purveyors will prepare locally produced ingredients sourced from the Athens Farmers Market for a truly amazing meal.

Proceeds will support our outreach efforts to address food insecurity in Athens. The Athens Farmers Market currently doubles SNAP dollars at the market. Since we began the doubling program in 2010, we have doubled $348,000 to $696,000! Monies raised to support this program come from the Autumn Harvest Feast as well as from Wholesome Wave Georgia. Additionally, the Athens Farmers Market is in its second year of the Fruit and Vegetable Program (FVRx) provides low income members of our community with diet related illness prescriptions for fresh fruits and vegetables at the market. Monies for this program come from the Athens Farmers Market, Wholesome Wave Georgia as well as a Piedmont Community Benefits Grant.
