1880's Fancy Dress (Masquerade) Ball
Learn to dance in the elegance of the late 19th Century with world-renowned dance historian and instructor Susan de Guardiola. Put on your finest period garb, Steampunk attire, or just dress to impress for an evening of ballroom dancing. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. for a one hour dance lesson for those new or a bit unfamiliar with this style of dance. Afterwards there is a FULL TWO HOURS of proper ballroom dancing. There will be plenty to eat and drink as well since Brooklyn's newest performance space and cafe/bar, Brooklyn Fire Proof, will be our host for the evening.
Tickets are a mere $20.00 and you can guarantee a place for yourself and company by purchasing tickets in advance.
So join us and all your friends in starting off this year's NYC 19th Century Extravaganza in style!
