A Conversation with Artists-in-Residence Eisa Davis and Steffani Jemison
Following a tour of the Studio Museum's current exhibitions, Eisa Davis, Symphony Space's artist-in-residence and recipient of the 2012 Herb Alpert Theater Award, is joined by Steffani Jemison, one of the Studio Museum's three current artists in residence for a discussion regarding the various influences of Harlem on their work. Davis provides unique insights into the inspiration for her new music-theater work, Flowers Are Sleeping (April 25-27). Post-discussion reception with the artists.
