BAFOL BEARS ART SHOWCASE
Booker Autism Foundation of Learning, Inc. (BAFOL) is pleased to announce Our upcoming 3rd Annual BAFOL BEARS Art Showcase & Fundraiser hosted by Hosted by Attorney Greg Daly, Esq. (Daly Law Firm).
BAFOL BEARS Art Showcase is a fundraiser to provide FREE educational ARTs Based exposure of our summer programs in Louisville, Kentucky for high functioning children (ages 8-12 yrs) on the Spectrum of Autism. The showcase also provides an opportunity for local artist and students to be paired up and mentored by the local artist. And, the showcase focuses on art, nutrition, science and community building relationships for the special needs families. This fundraiser will also assist with funding creative workshops, NO SCHOOL activities - a summer program that brings artists, scientists, chefs and educators to the Summer Youth Camps-based intensive workshops to the kids that would otherwise not have an avenue for such opportunities. While the students are paired up with a local artist (Kenn Parks, Rachel Jenkinson, Angela McBroom Porter, DWayne Whidby), from the community as a "Big Buddie" or Mentor to shadow and work with a professional in selling and speaking about EACH OTHERS masterpieces to the public, the attendees can purchase the students artwork.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the "FAMILY FRIENDLY" Booker Autism Foundation of Learning, Inc. Art Showcase on July 28th from 3-5pm. Tickets are available in advance on Brown Paper Tickets Link: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3571188. The day of the event, tickets are $5.00 for kids ages 7-12, $10 for ages 13-adult, and children 6 and under is FREE!. The Event will have live music by local artist, coloring (art table for kids) supervised by trained staff, along with hors d'Oeuvre, fruit & veggie trays, cheese & cracker trays, desserts, drinks, door prizes, raffles, and much more!
Open House for the BAFOL Bears PC Lab will be taking place in Room 702 (7th Floor), during the ART Showcase.
Proceeds raised will support Booker Autism Foundation of Learning, Inc.'s FREE community outreach programs.
BOOKER AUTISM FOUNDATION IS GIVING AWAY 40 TICKETS (4 TICKETS PER FAMILY) AN OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND THE ART SHOWCASE FOR FREE. TO ENTER THE DRAWING, FILL OUT THE ENTRY FORM BELOW (1 per household).
