Audubon EcoDiscoverers Day Camp (Grades 5-6)
Join Audubon Educators and guest scientists for a week of ecological exploration in nature's own laboratory! Campers will be introduced to careful observation, ecological concepts, and scientific research through hands-on exploration. Become an environmental steward through science and have fun too!
July 8 - July 12 Nature Guts: Find out how strong your guts are as we search for all things scaly, slimy, and spidery!
July 15 - July 19 AquaLab: Sample stream water, organisms, and experiment with water. July 22 - July 26 Call of the Wild Learn how animals "talk" with their sounds, feathers and fur.
July 29 - Aug 2 Nature Photography: Hike while learning to compose pictures and work with natural lighting. Campers are responsible for providing their own camera.
Aug 5 - Aug 9 Child Versus Wild: A week of outdoor skill building.
Aug 12 - Aug 16 BioBlitz: It's all about biodiversity! Search our many habitats and find the ones with the most life.
