Event
Festival Puertorriqueño
We are raising money to send to Puerto Rico. The island is still struggling to bounce back from the devastation post-Hurricane Maria, which hit in September 2017. Though it is a US territory, our government has not done nearly enough in disaster relief or aid.
We have teamed up to host a 4 course Puerto Rican meal that will also include a short presentation on the current state of the island. Molly is of Puerto Rican heritage and is a tremendous cook. She is planning a wonderful culinary experience based on her Great Grandmother's recipes.
This is a ticketed event, as we have limited space. Each ticket is $50 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Hispanic Federation and their relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
There will be a cash bar supplied by Forage, as well.
We will also be playing some Puerto Rican music and very much encourage some dancing!!
Please join us for a wonderful evening of great food that is not offered on any Eau Claire menu. We promise a good time!
Muchas Gracias,
Molly Barnes & Jake Lindgren
