Caribbean Ukulele Workshop & Concert in Anacortes WA!
Stuart is excited to be returning to beautiful Anacortes WA! Join us for a very fun and memorable day of ukulele playing and a solo concert. Stu is a master teacher with over two decades of experience - his workshops are very enriching on many levels!
Stuart in an internationally touring, award winning guitars & ukulele artist whose workshops have been featured at uke festivals across the USA, Canada & Europe. He will be presenting one of his most popular ukuleles workshops: CARIBBEAN MUSIC FOR UKE! (for ALL LEVELS of player)
Following the workshop Stu will be performing a solo concert of his soulful original tunes, ukulele favorites and dazzling instrumentals - played on ukulele & his Brazilian/Classical guitar.

3:00pm - 4:15pm: Caribbean Ukulele Workshop
4:15pm - 5:00pm: Q&A with Stu, hang out
5:00pm - 6:00pm: Concert with Stu

Reggae & Calypso for Ukulele: Grooves from the Heart
The music of the Caribbean just feels good, right? Like a day in the tropics! The deep and heart centered vibrations of Reggae, Calypso and New Orleans music are so uplifting and easier to play than you might think! In this workshop youll learn and experience the joyful grooves and melodies of Caribbean musical traditions of the African Diaspora. Youll learn fun and uplifting songs, new syncopated rhythms & strums, single note & harmony melody lines, body drumming (hambone) and more. Be prepared to have a blast getting into the groove!
Open to ALL LEVELS of player, beginner to advanced.
