The Raving Jaynes (Jamie Graham & Amy Larimer) mix dance, improv, and physical theater to tell entirely-improvised stories. Nothing is choreographed! Nothing is scripted! They've been called the "real deal: sharp, witty, gorgeous, and utterly unique." (Dance Enthusiast). Super special guest La Dynasty will be singing, rapping and spinning her way through an improvised soundscore built of tracks from fellow female artists!
After suffering through the low wages and minimal recognition of the post-modern dance world, Jamie Graham and Amy Larimer are pursuing new prosperity & fame in the lucrative world of improv comedy! Amy & Jamie started out as classically-trained professional dancers then were seduced by the dark sparkle of improv comedy. They are now the Raving Jaynes -- a dynamic female duo mixing dance, improv, song and physical theater to tell entirely improvised stories! They perform regularly at the PIT in New York City, teach workshops and are advocates for the art of improvisation as a performance practice. La Dynasty (aka Meg Reilly) is a rapper, singer, comedian and actor based out of NYC. She has been seen traveling the world with North Coast and Baby Wants Candy spitting fire bars and making up musicals. You can see her almost every Monday night performing with On The Spot at the Broadway Comedy Club, every Saturday performing with North Coast at The People's Improv Theater or every other Friday performing Anybody: A Historical Hip Hopera with North Coast at Caveat. She is currently working on her debut album, PRADA, which is scheduled to drop Fall 2018. She has a passion for Drake, burritos and the moon.
