Montana Roesch and Dragon Bait Productions present Wolf Cub by Che Walker

Wolf Cub is English playwright, Che Walkers, premier one woman show starring American actress Devin McGregor Ketko.

Che Walkers odyssean journey reminds us, in a world of 'alternative facts', that we have been here before...

CAST

Devin McGregor Ketko (Maxine) is a classically trained Stella Adler alum hailing from Dallas, Texas. She boasts an abundance of theatrical credits and brings to each character a fierce physicality and deep-rooted respect for character and script analysis. This year, she debuted the character of "Rose" at the world premiere of "COMFORT" by Jesse Pimentel at the New York Summerfest. Her most recent leading role in the film THUNDERS about the life and death of famed Johnny Thunders of the New York Dolls is slated for worldwide distribution in 2019.

Devin's obsession with character and quest for sociological understanding are thoroughly searched in Che Walker's "WOLF CUB".

Che Walker (Playwright/Director) is a British stage and screen playwright. His first play Been So Long premiered at the world- renowned Royal Court Theatre, starring Oscar Nominee Sophie Okonedo in 1998, and subsequent productions include New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Seoul, Paris, Dortmund, Oslo and Copenhagen.

In 2008, Che made theatrical history when his play The Frontline became the first contemporary-set play to be performed at Londons Shakespeares Globe Theatre since  Merry Wives of Windsor in 1597. In 2009,  The Frontline received the rare honor of a revival at Shakespeares Globe, and his musical adaptation of his own play Been So Long premiered at Londons Young Vic Theatre (nominated for Evening Standard Best Musical, Evening Standard Best Newcomer, Whats On Stage Best New Musical Award). In 2011, Che embarked on a unique collaboration with English Rock Legend Paul Heaton on an Opera The Eighth featuring Emmy Award winning actor Reg E Cathey ( Netflix House of Cards HBOs The Wire , Outkast, The Corner)- the show premiered at The Manchester International Festival, subsequently playing the prestigious Barbican Centre in London and touring the length of the UK in 2012.

2016 saw Che transition to screenplay writing in the states. Lil Benny - filmed in Harlem, New York, with an all-American cast and crew - won The Uptown Festival Trailblazer Award, The Uptown Festival Best Actress Award, and earned Official Selections Uptown Festival, New York Independent Film Festival, Defy Festival Nashville, Hollyshorts Film Festival Los Angeles, Toronto, Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival, and Triforce Film Festival.
Ches feature length screenplay Been So Long has been bought by Netflix for a record sum- the highest money paid for a UK feature film. Having just completed filming, the project was directed by Bafta award winner, Tinge Krishnan, produced by British Film Institute, Film4 and Greenacre Films.

Che currently has two screenplays in development- his adaptation of the BBC Series DeadHead is produced by Open Palm Film, and will be directed by Dominic Dromgoole in 2018. His original screenplay Fredo Bertasio is produced by David Livingstone and Emily Bray, with Jake Nava attached to direct.

Che has directed twenty nine stage productions, and has over forty professional acting credits across stage and screen.
