Dramaturgy Night
Bowery Poetry is a stage for artists to create, present, and perfect their art, and for this night, we are bringing together another set of artists in our community that have been itching to show you some magic they've been putting out. Bowery Poetry has invited playwrights who you may have seen at The Writopia Lab Playwriting Festival, The Manhattan Theatre Club, The Cherry Lane Theater to come showcase their new works and works in progress. Dramaturgy Night will be 6 back to back short plays presented by these writers and their fellow actors. If you're a fan of intimate, conversational, introspective, and downright funny things and feels, come thru for a night of drama and stage magic.

Featuring the work of:

She is doing  a series of plays in bars around the city, acting in a Tennessee Williams series in Key West and raising her magical 2 year old in Brooklyn.

Alaina's work I confess is a play made up of real secrets. Inspired by Confessional by Tennessee Williams, Hurricane Alaina created an online database where people could submit their anonymous confessions. The way one might tell a secret to a therapist, priest or bartender.
