Left Bank Books welcomes former Missouri Secretary of State and Let America Vote president Jason Kander, who will sign and discuss his new book, "Outside the Wire: Ten Lessons I've Learned in Everyday Courage"!

Jason Kander is a former Army Captain and Afghanistan veteran who became the first millennial ever elected to statewide office. Today, he is the founder and president of Let America Voteand a bold new presence in national politics. In "Outside the Wire," Kander guides readers through his journey from Midwestern kid to soldier to politician, detailing with humor and intimacy the lessons he's learned along the way. "Outside the Wire" is  smart and revealing political memoir from a rising star who Barack Obama has called the future of the Democratic Party, and a practical guide for engaging in public service, as told by someone who's lived it.

Ticket Information

-- A $31 ticket admits one person and includes one hardcover copy of "Outside the Wire"
-- A $36 ticket admits two people and includes one hardcover copy of "Outside the Wire," plus a $5 rebate towards the purchase of a second copy at the event

Tickets available soon. Please note: those who purchase a ticket and do not attend the event must pick up their copy of "Outside the Wire" or contact Left Bank Books to arrange for shipping within 60 days of the event. No refunds will be granted after 12pm on Monday, August 13.
