Top 10 Urban Plant Medicines
In this class we will be focusing on how to use the abundant wild things that grow all around us in Western Washington. We will cover: - Uses of each plant - Preparation - Dosage - Habitat/ where to harvest - When to harvest
When putting together this list, I considered which herbs grow abundantly in the city limits of Seattle, which are the most useful, and which are the easiest to harvest.
Heres the list: 1. Hawthorn 2. Mullein 3. St Johns Wort 4. Yarrow 5. Nettle 6. Oregon Grape 7. Dandelion 8. Chickweed 9. Uva-ursi 10. Plantain
This class is appropriate for all levels.

Natalie is a local herbal educator and clinical herbalist who runs the Adiantum School of Plant Medicine. She has been studying herbalism for 10 years, and will never be done learning! In addition to teaching herself, she has studied under several herbalists, most notably Cascade Anderson Geller and Matthew Wood. She believes in the power of curiosity and direct experience!
