Bring Your Granddaughter to Tea
Mary McLeod Bethune, an African American teacher, was one of the great educators in United States history. She was a leader of women, an advisor to several American presidents, and a powerful champion of equality among races. She is the founder of the National Council of Negro Women. NCNW helps women of African descent and their families enhance their health, knowledge, personal satisfaction and is committed to improving our communities.
Please join the Seattle Section and our other 240 sections and 39 national affiliate organizations in celebrating her birthday and her legacy. Suggested donation is $10.00. Please RSVP ncnwseattle@gmail.com. Tickets available from any NCNW member, at the door and on brown paper tickets.
