The Jealous Husband and The Imaginary Cuckold
Performed in rotation in The Playhouse Studio with Pericles, Prince of Tyre by William Shakespeare.
Moliere's set of one act comedies are wonderful examples of a blend of studied wit, informal popular entertainment and low humor reminiscent of the Commedia Dell'Arte. These shows are darkly humorous, illuminating the base human desires of greed, lust and pretense through the use of stock comedic characters. Be prepared to enjoy the verbal and physical antics of unwitting fools in the most dangerous game of love, desire. and cuckoldry.
Tickets are no longer available online for the performances April 18-21. Tickets will be available at the door beginning one hour prior to the performance.
