BAUBO

The Neo-Political Cowgirls, in their classic sense, present their wild, unexpected style of theater with their launch of BAUBO at The Montauk County Park August 14th-18th. Performed outdoors under the big Montauk sky, BAUBO uses aerialists, dance, music and text to surprise us with the story of the hidden weapon brought to wield by this unwelcome goddess. Wrapped in the classic myth of Persephone and Demeter, BAUBO breaks through status quo methods of story telling to transcend usual expectations of theater and bring the audience into a new understanding of human nature, Jungian myth, and the power of story.

Be aware- BAUBO will be cancelled due to weather ONLY if it is raining at show time. If other weather conditions occur during the day that present difficulties for performers, we may cancel before curtain time. You will be contacted via email if that happens and tickets will be honored on another night and if unable to attend, reimbursed. Tickets can only be reimbursed due to cancellation.
