Sing Tower Hamlets Fifth Birthday Concert!
2018 marks FIVE YEARS OF SING TOWER HAMLETS!
Since we started in January 2013, we've sung more than 100 songs, performed in parks and pubs and churches and choir festivals, raised over £25,000 for local charities, built lasting friendships, and had the BEST time singing our hearts out together!
On Thursday 19th July we're celebrating with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US concert at our home venue! Join us to hear some of our favourite songs from the last five years, sing along with some you-guessed-it audience participation, and raise a glass to community singing in East London!
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the learning and participation work of Spitalfields Music. Spitalfields Music runs an extensive programme of music workshops in schools and community settings across Tower Hamlets each year. Sing Tower Hamlets founder Leanne has had the privilege of seeing the benefit of this work first hand this past year through Spitalfields Music's trainee music leader scheme, bringing creative and inclusive music-making opportunities to children and adults across the borough.
