The Novel Game
"Come and see Robin Ince (The Infinite Monkey Cage) and guests record this literary - and not so literary - game of fakery especially for Radio Reverb.
Three panelists write what they imagine to be the first line of a novel, a celebrity biography, an advert or even a film poster. Will they fool the others into thinking theirs is the real first line? The Novel Game is all about the beginning and end of the written word: but will you spot the fakes and choose the real thing? Along the way we get to hear them battle it out and often fall flat on their openings.
Joining Robin are Fenella Fudge (BBC Radio 2), Marian Pashley (Comedy Camp), Francesca Reid (Brent Would), Stuart Flynn (Stuart Flynn & The Dirtycakes), Joey Holden (too many to mention)
Well be recording two episodes of this warm hearted, quirky and funny radio programme as a fundraiser for Brightons own wonderful Radio Reverb which will be broadcast in January next year. As it's a recording, latecomers wont be admitted so come early and join us in the theatre from 7pm onwards ready for a prompt 7:30pm start. Show ends at 10:15pm."
Please note: All ticket sales are final and we do not offer refunds unless an event is cancelled
