You want me to what? Understanding, engaging and stewarding the Millennial Generation.
Presenter: Tucker Branham Executive Director, Porter-Gaud Foundation In order to best cultivate and steward the Millennial Generation, we must first understand who they are and why they have been shaped in such a manner. Many report this generation as self-centered, lazy, demanding, connected, out of touch, and many more. The reality is the world shifted just as this generation was discovering how to behave, grow, act and play. The Millennials grew up in the era of Globalization, which in turn, created a large gap between them and the generations before them. So how do we engage, cultivate and steward this group? The same way we do with the Boomers and what Gen Xers we've engaged: create a plan that best suits them and then work that plan. In this session, we will work to understand the Millennial generation and then discuss how to best engage and steward this specific group of individuals. When: Thursday, April 18, 2013 Where: Thornblade Country Club 1275 Thornblade Blvd., Greer, SC 29650 Time: 8:30a.m. - 9:30a.m. Cost: $20 for AFP and SCANPO members, $30 for non-members If you need to cancel, please provide a 48 hour notice to avoid charges.
