Event
Saloons of the Wild, Wild West
Just how wild was the Wild Wild West in Sacramento? Wild enough for Mark Twain to name us the City of Saloons. Learn about cocktails, barroom brawls, the free lunch, and why saloons had separate women's entrances. And of course, hear about the regrettable decisions made in saloons that resulted in more business for the cemetery!
This is a walking tour; please wear sensible shoes since some surfaces may be uneven.
There is no parking in the Cemetery, but parking is available on surface streets.
