Boat Tour to Fishers Island Tuesday, July 24; Friday, August 10; Thursday, September 13
Take our excursion to Fishers Island to view the 2018 exhibition 'Photographers of Fishers Island, Part Two, 1940s to Date', curated by Pierce Rafferty, at the Henry L.Ferguson Museum. A light lunch will be provided.
We're taking the Fishers Island Ferry from New London. $65, $60 NLMS members. Schedule details to come, but it will be approximately from 9:15 AM to 2 PM. Limited to 15. Guest cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
The ferry schedule varies depending upon the season and day. For the August 10 trip, the ferry leaves the dock at 11:30 AM. Cars must be in line at the ferry 25 minutes in advance, and passengers should be there no later than 15 minutes in advance. I will have your tickets and I will be there by 10:45. You are welcome to park your car for the day alongside the custom house (the side facing the former Salvation Army building). Either side of that block will be fine.
The ferry trip takes about one hour.
Our return ferry leaves Fishers at 4:45 and arrives in New London at 5:45.
