A New Tradition: Mixed Climbing in the Northeast:
"Putting up new mixed routes in the Northeast used to be as easy as walking up to any hanging icicle and figuring out how to get up to it. Things have changed. Enjoy a look at some of the routes that got us where we are now, what there is to learn from one of the world's oldest winter climbing traditions and what's next for the Yankee version of this really strange sport."

A note from event organizers:
Dear AAC Member or Guest:

We are hoping you will join us on March 16th in the sophisticated ambiance of the Henderson House, Northeastern University's elegant hilltop estate in Weston, Massachusetts, for a gala evening at which you may renew old Section friendships and begin others anew. Black tie or ties of any color are welcome.

Please act promptly as seats are limited.

I urge you to consider responding as a patron. Our patrons are highly appreciated and an important part of the success of the evening. We will treat as Patrons those who contribute $90 above the dinner ticket price of $90. Patrons will receive Jim Davidson's book "The Ledge". The Ledge reveals Jim Davidson's incredible tale of resilience and survival. This compelling adventure memoir is a national best-seller and the winner of the National Outdoor Book Award.

Please reserve before Monday March 11th. For any late reservations please call Nancy directly to confirm your spot and negotiate payment, 617-285-0517.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you for what has become a great New England tradition.
